Orchid Strings and Pretty Things

I love when I get to be involved in many aspects of a couple’s wedding design. I fell in love with Brookes and James while doing their wedding invitations, and then was lucky enough to be hired to make favor tags, escort cards, menus, and table numbers for the wedding. It was one of the most beautiful weddings ever, and I’m so excited to get to share some of the fabulous photos from Laurel McConnell Photography!

The wedding took place at Pravda Studios, with an all-star cast of vendors (a Kurant Event, Bamboo Beats, & Ravishing Radish, to name a few!). While I enjoy seeing Wyatt Ink table numbers and menus in this photo, the real star here are the flowers by Alexa Johnson at Fiore Blossoms:

Guests were given Theo chocolates. We made simple favor tags, with one of Brookes and James’ favorite quotes on the back: “For you see, each day, I love you more. Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.”

For me, the Escort Cards were the most exciting element I got to work on. Conquering my fear of heights, I hung 10 foot strings of fishing line, with purple orchids and name cards strung all along them. They looked stunning against the soaring Pravda windows!

All in all, it was such a fun wedding to work on, and I wish Brookes and James all the best in their new marriage!
